The memorable Alex design that everyone has loved to hate...or love, he wears a sleeveless vest that is slightly open on the top to see his upper chest and his dragon necklace. His left (to the viewer, right) is deformed and monstrous due to the overuse of darkness in the past, his other arm remained the same.
The darkness affected his natural development, making him taller and stronger than ordinary humans...a tall and lean warrior. Besides affecting his arm as mentioned above, it also affected his teeth, making him have fangs.
Dark Form a.k.a Shadow sports a whole other design and only resumes this form when Dark Mode is activated.He is dressed in pitch black attire with blue highlights to contrast the black and red of his ordinary form.

Personality:
With time, he became a laid back type of guy, not wanting to cause the chaos he committed back at PHS #552 once more. But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t step into action if he felt like it. He’s more of a loner, liking his alone time and seeking quiet places to think, places away from the annoyance of humanity. If he has a problem, Alex asks for no help, especially if he committed it. It's his problem, his life, he doesn’t want the help of others to solve them. He’s usually kind, but when using his abilities, he may be a bit sarcastic.
When in Dark Mode, his personality is...villainous. He cares for no one except himself, selfish. He enjoys watching people suffer, but he enjoy making people’s lives miserable even more. He despises humans, so frail and weak.Yet secretly he has been learning what the meaning of “mercy” and “compassion” is...villains need to have a bit of that if they want to get far.
Strangely enough, they both have a bit of a sweet tooth and will literally stop in their tracks for a sweet treat that catches their eye if they see one.
Background:
The Dragon Family was one wealthy family who to others, looked like any ordinary family. Yet that was just a charade, an act. The mother, Cecil Dragon was into witchcraft while the father, Valmir Dragon was a scientist devoted to unlocking the true potential in humans. By then, the first child of theirs, Mirai was already born.
In the deepest reaches of the basement at Dragon Manor, Valmir researched with live test subjects, researching their DNA to see what needed to be altered in order to make the superhuman. His tests often ended with failure and a dead body to dispose of. Cecil on the other hand, tested out her rituals and hexes in her own little area down there, often succeeding in her magical discoveries. In order to help her husband, she seeked advice from the spiritual realm, but instead of summoning a wise spirit, she ended up summoning a dark entity for the price of her life.
Valmir was enraged when he found out of the events and shunned the spirit, yet it told him of why it was summoned: to help with his research as it was her wife’s true wish...yet he promised that she would return once the deed was done. They worked together, Valmir had to bribe employees or steal data from the leading scientific corporations in order to find the methods to become superhuman. Once he had what he needed, the real work begun.
Using a newborn child that Valmir had kidnapped, they started the experiment, using a combination science and hexes to make sure this test ended in success. Succeeded it did, he had done it, created a newborn superhuman at the expense of making a city have a power outage. Yet the spirit laughed wickedly, he had used Valmir to create a vessel for him to use….in a few years, but it would be worth it. The spirit fused itself with the child’s own and would lay dormant until the right time to reawaken, when this vessel would start to realize his abilities.
Valmir didn’t get what he was promised, his wife. As much as he wished to crush his creation, he couldn’t. This newborn boy would be given a name and would be a part of the family.
He was named Alex.
As 2 years went by, Valmir was being hunted down by the authorities as the corporations he stole data from finally knew who the culprit was. In an effort to survive, he put both Mirai and the still young Alex into an orphanage before vanishing. His fate is still unknown.
At the age of 7, Alex was starting to use his newfound, yet still weak powers. He would occasionally use them to be a trickster at the orphanage. At age 10, this trickster activity got the attention of someone named Rochi. Rochi was a much more crazed trickster than him, so they got along well. At age 16, Alex’s dark powers were growing out of control, he’d have sudden bursts of dark energy thrown out and apparently wake up to seeing that he hurt someone. Kids would say he turned into a whole different person at night and attack everyone but Mirai and Rochi.
This caught the attention of the Public School System and he was sent to PHS #552 along with Mirai and Rochi. This is where that dark spirit started to awaken, truly take control over Alex after many years of slumber. He attacked everyone, yet held a grudge on a particular person and those associated with said person. In the end, after the chaos he unleashed at #552 was ended by the same person his dark counterpart hated, he walked the path of redemption.
Yet the guilt still clung to him, so he seeked someone to put those memories of 552 to deep slumber. With those memories put to sleep, he could do his duty to making the world better, one person at a time. This earned him an invitation to join the new Starbound Initiative, which he kindly accepted.
Alex headed to Australia, excited.
His dark side, the dark spirit on the other hand was still dazed from the procedure that put his memories to sleep. Yet once Alex stepped foot into the new complex that would be his home, he remembered
This was his vessel. He needed to control it.
That’s what he’ll do.
Skills and Weaknesses:
He can get easily angered, yet he has been keeping it under control. Although if he does get angry enough, the darkness would take over him and his dark counterpart would gladly give the son of a gun the ass whopping of their lives. He usually likes doing things on his own, help makes him feel weak and useless...this also makes him avoid humans in general because he doesn’t want to get bugged by them over their efforts to help him put a leash on his out of control dark counterpart.
Despite those shortcomings, he is one to think deep. He connects with those that share a struggle like his or a worse one. While he won’t technically show it, he would keep an eye out on those people and protect them from the shadows. He’s making the world better one person at a time after all.

Tapping into the darkness within himself, Alex transforms into his dark counterpart Transforms Alex into his Dark Form, making him obtain a dark aura increasing his STR and END by one stage and decreasing his PER by one stage.
