Many civilizations have looked to the stars as a sign of hope. A beacon of promise.

Known as the "final frontier," space has been the place where many daydreams and great epics have taken place. Those who had once been bound to their planets started to leave, and they quickly learned that they were not alone in the galaxy, let alone in the universe--they realized that there was so much more than what they thought they knew.

Times of war would break out, followed by times of peace, until finally those gathered said enough. The Alliance was formed, inviting various planets and systems to join them in a show of solidarity to live truly in peace.

This peace, however, came at a price. War would come again; those not given the invitation to join the Alliance were angry, left to scrape by on the scraps leftover by the war and the forming of the alliance. A countering force to the Alliance would grow, and new fighting escalated to include all sides, even those who did their best to keep out of it. Peace might come again, but at who's hands? At what cost?
