Long was the silence the fell upon Izi as the last body was swept away by the rough current of the stream. Panting, the redhead slumped over a rock, facing her reflection in the now tainted, bloody water. For the first time in forever, literally and metaphorically, she was facing her demon. She found herself unintentionally reminiscing the past, running her hand down the scar on her eye. That injury was the single reminder of her innocence she had left. After years and years of inner torment, the physical torture on Andyr was the straw the broke the camel's back, and now all she could do was embrace what she was taught... She sighed, swiveling her head between the daggers that sat on either side of her - one was sitting on a hill a few feet away, and the other sat on the edge of the forest, where first blood had been spilled. Even though the scene suggested otherwise, Izi, for once, was not guilty. Perhaps the words 'No Trespassing' were of some importance to the aliens that were now rafting down the river? Regardless, their deaths were their own fault. Izi did nothing but mind her own business. She remained at rest for a few minutes more, before proceeding to wash her face in the red water. Finally, she was at peace. Austin Huntsman

[/b] Austin muttered out loud to himself as those hazel iris' gazed about his surroundings. He had been in the middle of hunting some meddlesome beast and had been tracking it for some time. When he had finally set his eyes on it, some sort of conflict nearby had caused his skittish mark to flee. As unfortunate as it was, he was also tired of chasing it around. Instead, what piqued his interest was whatever had taken place close by. It would only take him a few minutes of a slowly paced trek before he would break from the foliage to the sound of running water nearby. His eyes would scan the length of the stretching river before they eventually settled upon a lone figure, which appeared to be washing their face in bloody water. His eyes narrowed slightly, hands shifting to hover near the hilts of his blades as he took a couple heavy steps forward. "Hey- You alright?"A simple question. He wouldn't pass judgement yet. However his guard was certainly up. [/ul] [/blockquote]
