Hikari would dash after Austin Huntsman , and the rest of the group, catching up to them rather quickly. She crouches down, squinting at the beast in front of them. Scratching her forearm, an idea forms in her head, "If this thing is made of fire, couldn't we just put it out?" Hikari spoke to no one in particular, but was hoping to get a response from Ji-ho , who knew more about the wildlife here than any of the others. The ninja stared at Holly as she spoke, blinking a few times before she practically flung herself towards the beast, "...Is she insane?" After a sigh, she unholsters both of her handguns, "Too late to strategize I suppose."
Dashing out into the clearing, Hikari would fire two rounds at the beast after Holly had finished her attack, hoping to grab its attention.

[/i][/b] It wasn't fear that held Austin back, he was just hoping to make it through this quickly, clean and without casualties on their side. However, the silver haired girl took it upon herself to act. A slight groan escaped him as his hands returned to the hilts. He would pull them free, the resonance of blades singing out as he bent his knees. He would leap, lifting his large frame forward and high into the air. His mantle would activate, the leathery material snapping out as it took the form of raven wings. The sudden burst that would be produced would send him downward quickly at a sharp angle as he intended to sweep over the top of the beast and swing the sword in his right, down the length of the creature's back shortly after Holly had acted. He would twist in the air at the same time, looking to land and position himself behind the beast, facing it. [/ul] [/blockquote]

The sound of the golem walking alone was enough for Hehamycr to be alerted to the hunters, and it slowly stood to its feet and began to turn. By the time it faced its assailants, it was assaulted by the exploding candy golem, and the bag of explosive candies struck its head. Before it could even react it was struck along its back and from the side from both Austin and Hikari, as well, and the wounded beast was quickly enraged.
With a vicious roar, strong enough to push the hunters back even if only slightly, the fire in Hehamycr's chest began to grow more wild, and its tails began to lash out with reckless abandon. Austin would find its largest tail swipe out and crash into his side with enough force that even he could feel the pain, and it would send him flying backward. The tails on its face would swipe out at Holly, striking her with less force but painful searing whips that would burn through her clothes and leave marks on her skin.
Independent of the whips, the Hehamycr would suddenly dart to its side, feed uplifting large chunks of the ground and flinging them toward Austin as it did. The massive beast charged directly for Hikari, aiming to pounce her and crush her under its massive feet.

After Holly's barrage of attacks, she found herself hitting the ground before she knew it. She landed with a thud, knocking the breath out of her as she scraped against the cold, hard earth. Although in pain, she could hardly feel it due to the adrenaline rush. She might have single handedly screwed everyone, but luckily cleaning up messes was her forte.
She staggered up, gazing at the beast as it unleashed it's terror against her comrades. It seemed to be targeting Austin - no wait, Hikari. Those tails made it difficult to see exactly what it was going for. What could Holly do? Distract it and possibly get crushed while the others configured a plan? No no, that was option B. Now what was option A?
Quickly, she threw a purple gumball into her mouth. This candy was still under experimentation, and had only been used against people and lamps, but never an alien, so there was no telling what it would do. Would they just bounce off, or perhaps slow its pursuit by sticking to it's feet? Well, it was time to find out. She rapidly chewed the gum while strafing toward the beast until finally it became too much to chew.
Her lips would form an 'O' shape, and a murder of gumballs would fly out of her mouth. The first half of them would attack its feet in hopes that it would slow it down, and the rest would simply stray - either for its chest, head, or miss entirely.

It was certainly an interesting combination of abilities, but the guide couldn't help but tilt his head curiously - were they pulling their punches, or was the beast pulling his? Ji-ho's right hand raised up to lethargically scratch at the back of his head despite the otherwise urgent situation playing out in front of him; one member already eating dirt while the rest scrambled to recover some degree of control over the situation. Tick, tick; a rather irritating sound, he lamented. The Ayndr native frowned, still remaining stationary from their original position as he watched the fight continue to unfold.
The red crystal behind him hovered listlessly.

Hikari fired two more rounds towards the beast as suddenly chaos began to unfold around her, as the beast began charging towards her, the ninja leapt out of the way just barely. Scanning her surroundings for a moment, she yells towards Austin, "I'm gonna try to slow it down as best as I can!" She looks towards Holly and her odd bubblegum cannon, deciding not to say anything to her for now. Turning her head back towards the beast, she continues to fire her handguns at it until the clips were empty.
Putting her hands out in front of her, pointed towards the beast, Hikari closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment. Attempting to use her gravity manipulation on an alien planet wasn't easy, nevertheless she attempted to do so on the beast.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nimble Gravity (Secondary): Hikari was born with the ability to manipulate gravity to an extent, she can use it to allow herself to jump higher or instead use it to weigh opponents down. The effect doesn't last long in it's current stage and is limited in its capabilities.

Hikari Ayama barely dodging would not save her from further aggression. Her rounds would find purchase in the beast's shoulders as it dashed, but as she moved slightly to the side, it acted out quickly in response. Whirling around, Hehamycr would hip-check Hikari, slamming its massive body into her side with enough force to send her flying off to the side. Her body would immediately feel an ache, a burning riddling her from the inside upon contact. Holly "Sugar" Vos's pellets caused Hehamycr to stumble back, striking its face, its eyes, over and over. In frustration it roared out, the power of its voice enough to distort the air as the other gumballs flew toward it, instead falling to the side instead of meeting their target. Flames ripped out from its chest and a pillar shot out, aiming straight for Holly. Austin Huntsman would find his tendrils stab into the creature's body. It shrieked out in pain, but in response, sent fire traveling up the tendrils and straight toward Austin. It lifted its mouth, rotating its jaws and grabbed both tendrils between its teeth. With a violent tugged, it would pull them, and by extension, Austin, toward itself.

Success! Holly's gumballs had worked just like she planned. She smiled, tossing her hands in the air as each one exploded on Hehamycr's massive body. Unfortunately, she only seemed to piss it off further, and she was unprepared for the pillar of fire beaming at her. Instinctively, she plucked a random candy from her bag and threw it into her mouth. Normally, at random, she'd never get a candy helpful to her current situation. This time, however, it seemed fortune favored her.
A hardened, butterscotch coated shield would form around her. She had no idea if it would protect her from Hehamycr, but at the very least it'd soften it's blow. If it actually worked, it would probably be within her best interest to share with her squad. In the brief moment she had before impact, she would scan the field for her teammates. Austin and Hikari seemed to be getting thrashed, and the other... was simply standing there. What the fuck? Any injuries her comrades received would be 100% her fault, but why was that guy just standing there? Her eyes would widen as she angrily turned towards him, almost forgetting she was still in danger.

*Butterscotch (Yellow): Sweet and savory, this delicious yellow treat grants a hardened shield around one's self for one turn.

[/i][/b] Thankfully he was armored up, otherwise the flames that licked up the tendrils toward him would have probably had a much worse outcome. Despite the heat, Austin would feel himself tugged forward and something of a smirk crossed his face as the look in his eyes intensified. This was the thrill he sought. Nothing got the blood pumping quite like flirting with death. While hidden beneath that blood stone armor of his, Austin's veins would have begun to darken from the initial blow he had taken. He would liquify the tendrils and disconnect them from his body so that he wasn't pidgeon holed into it's mouth. However, using the momentum from the tug he would amplify and shift direction slightly as hid mantle activated and and those wings erupted. The wings would thrust him forward and he would swing the makeshift greatsword he already had prepared. With luck the draft from the wings would batter the flames out. Twisting into a single counter-clockwise spin, he would swipe the large weapon around in attempt to carve into the creature's face as he attempted to pass by it. A roar would escape him in the process. If it connected, he supposed he could truly gauge just what they were dealing with if the beast didn't go down. His side hurt, he was feeling the burn, but he could man through it for now and deal with injuries later. Right now he had to stay focused. Second: Vindictive Reciprocation
When Austin suffers damage at the hand of another, his body possesses a natural ability to react to the blow. The blood within him swells, flowing quickly throughout his system, before focusing into whatever limb is chosen to strike with. His body temporarily shifts at a molecular level, allowing him retaliate against his opponents and output damage equal to his own strength and enhanced by the attackers.
He is unable to maintain it for long periods of time, so he generally only uses it in short bursts. When activated his veins darken to a blackish-blue and become very prominent upon visible skin until the power is canceled.
200 post upgrade: This ability now allows Austin to break his prior limits and boost his STR to 'SSS' rank.
Third: Bloodstone Exoskeleton
Austin as able to harness his blood to flow from his body and swallow it in it's entirety, before it hardens into a shell similar to heavy stone. This ability protects him against a variety of damage types, but doesn't completely negate the damage dealt. There are small fissures eithin the armor where blood remains liquified so that he is still able to remain mobile and fexible.

Hikaris' eyes would widen as the beast still came charging towards her, getting slammed square in the side she flies back a decent distance. Rolling across the clearing, she attempts to get her bearings as best she could. Grimacing, Hikari gets up to one knee and readies a small sphere that she had clipped to her belt. Clicking the button on top, she rolls it in front of her and after a few seconds it detonates. Smoke would begin pouring over the area where Hikari is, effectively masking her presence.
"Sorry guys, i'm gonna need a minute."

As Holly "Sugar" Vos turned around to glare at a listless Ji-ho, she'd simply receive a faint smile in return. The Guide wasn't mocking her by any means, but the intention of her glare had very obviously flown right over his head. His amber eyes didn't stick to her for long though, as they continued to shift towards the others participating in the fight - each detail being carefully put to memory as blows were exchanged; which begged the question, why had only blows been exchanged?
To the native, it was odd. Such a beast had already been wounded before they'd tracked it down - but how? The villagers could've mounted a counter offensive to defend their homes, sure; but, how did they manage to find purchase with so many weapons when it appeared even the strongest of the hunting group was struggling to land clean blows? Ji-ho scratched at his head once more, trying to put together vague puzzle pieces without falling down a slippery slope of assumptions. It didn't much matter why things felt off to him, since the Hehamycr was already as worked up as it was.
It was around this point in time that he looked slightly surprised, his eyes following the normally nimble body of Hikari being knocked aside. Then a familiar tool emitted a large cloud of smoke, which gave Ji-ho the comfort to continue watching the bout between foreign man and Ayndr's wildlife. It had been entertaining, but he'd already seen all he needed to - his conclusion about the Initiative had been made, and his posture finally shifted as his center of gravity lowered and he kicked off towards the Hehamycr's side.
Ji-ho had aimed for a point where the beast would be mostly concerned with Austin, and attempted to use his speed to aim for one of the weapons protruding out from the beast, where he'd use the momentum he'd built up to try and drive one of them deeper into the Hehamycr with the heel of his boot.
Zero to One-hundred, Real Quick [Level 1] Ji-ho's secondary Gift allows him to accelerate in a given direction without the need of a physical force. While he appears to move without any outside force, his directional movement is actually fueled by stored kinetic energy. He can do this from simply moving around during combat, with varying degrees of speed depending on how much energy he accumulates. At level one, it has two stages: After two rounds of storing energy, Ji-hos Agility increases by one tier. After four rounds, it increases his Agility by two tiers for the same time spent charging.
Ji-ho temporarily has SS Agility.

Austin Huntsman would unfortunately find that the Hehamycr's flames could not be so easily extinguished, regardless of the force of the wind. Even as his tendrils were unmade the flames around him persisted, and the burn he'd experience as a result would be lingering and powerful even for a man as durable as he was. Even with his burst of speed, the beast seemed to be ready and waiting for him, opening its vicious maws only to clamp them down on the blade Austin would use for his assault. The tails of the beast that extended from its face and sides would begin to pelt him as it would hold him in the air, each one accompanied by a fire that would tear through his armor. The beast's defense would be far more vicious had it not been for Ji-ho's sudden interference. Its jaws prepared to crush the blade and open for Austin instead, but before it could, it suddenly felt its side further impaled. The sword would be dropped and the assault of the lashes would halt and it would stumble to the side, letting out the first hint of pain it'd shown since the fight began. A whimper and a yelp escaped the mouth of the beast as it stumbled, but quickly it regained its footing and darted to the side, putting distance between itself, Ji-ho, and Austin. Holly "Sugar" Vos and Hikari Ayama would get only a moment of respite before the conflict continued. Deeply, the Hehamycr would inhale, sucking in the air with strength that each of the hunters would feel a light pull, though not enough to sweep them from their feet. As it breathed in, the fire in the pit of its chest began to swirl more viciously, and the weapons that so clearly protruded from its body began to burn up. From the gashes they left behind, pillars of flame would spit out, until they formed tendrils of their own. Now, it had not only its many physical tails, but a dozen made of its own, powerful fire. The ground beneath Hehamycr's feet would crack as its claws dug into the charred earth, and it would begin to do the same under the feet of each and every one of the hunters. Smoke would rise from the cracked areas, before, suddenly, they all burst, and flames shot skyward from directly beneath them.

[/b] He would react as quickly as he could. His left hand, which had been dangling near his side would snap out in front of him as he looked to grab Ji-Ho at the back of his neck, near the base. Already in a crouched position, he would have himself into the air and look to yank the native into the sky with him. His mantle would look to activate again and his wings would flap out intensely in front of them, looking to carry them backwards through the sky quickly in hopes of escaping the fiery wrath of the beast they were battling. So long as Ji-ho hadn't resisted and they had been able to escape the vicinity of the eruption of earth and fire, Austin would release the native once they touched the ground again. "Gah- We need to think of something before this gets any worse.. Do you think you can get me an opening..!? Or if I can get you one.. Can you finish it?!" Austin was confident that if he could get a proper opening, he had a good chance of putting it down. However, he was still quite unaware of what the native could do. Maybe he had a better idea, but Austin would still put his two cents in. "I think our best chance is striking low.. It's stomach, where those damn tails will be harder to land."Kiin[/ul] [/blockquote]
