“Watch him for me! I’ll be back!”
A few of Yvette’s last memorable moments were this request from a man he barely knew. His words conveyed confidence without losing awareness for the gravity of the situation. Then she barely had time to process the events before a strange light enveloped her and the boy in her custody.
Yvette gently woke in the wreckage of the Starsquall within a shallow crater. The terrain around the Starsquall was a dry rocky texture. Her body laid on the very edge of the ship fragment, with no sign of the boy she was given guardianship over. Yvette found herself at the base of the crags surrounding the area. The surface of the small mountain scarred by small fragments of the ship apparent by the smoke. At the edge of the Starsquall’s wall, Yvette would also be able to notice an emergency pack.

Yvette squinted and stretched while making her way to her feet. Her movement quickly went frantic as she patted all around her body.
"MON ENFANT, VIENS À MOI!"
With no hesitation her leafy babe floated down onto her shoulder. The brunette smiled and kissed the little creatures head. She worked her way out of the wreckage and looked around. It seemed like she's already lost the flesh child. Maybe now the insane bleu will learn his lesson.
Still she didn't want the death off a child to put her back in prison.... However she's on an alien planet now. Yvette stopped and contemplated that. She was essentially free.
Free. What did one do when they were free. Hmmm...
She waved her hand and the little leafy babe spit out a sprout. She grow it with a snap of her fingers a great Californian Red Wood, fully grown. She touched it and whispered softly, seemly working hard. After a second the tree gave way and 'opened'. The tree was now hollow, but still living. She had pushed the growth to make it hollow and now have an opening.
Giving a last look over the crater she retrieved the emergency pack and went into the tree. After closing 'the door' to the tree she had sturdy branches sprout in a spiral like fashion so that she had a method of getting to the top of her tree. She wanted to see all of the land she would now live.

Once Yvette made her way to the top of the tree, she found a breath taking sight. All around her she found crags and small mountainous ranges. However past the crags, quite a ways off she made out the daunting shape of a fortress. The incredible size of the fortress's walls made it difficult to pinpoint exactly how far off it was. In the opposite direction Yvette would be able to roughly make out the shape of an in-land body of water. To her left and right, she could just barely make out the shapes of forests in either direction.

Yvette licked her lips. Forest? What friends could she make here? She paid no mind to the fortress if they bothered her their walls would be down soon enough afterward. For now she just wanted to live. Perhaps she should find the little flame. The blue haired one would probably bother her if the flame was snuffed. What a drag. She turned her stairs into a slide and quickly made her way down the tree.
As Yvette rummaged through parts of the wreckage she also gathered anything of use she could find. Might as well make use of this time. Other than just looking for the redheaded parasite. While looking she wondered how long it would take for the natives to find her. She hoped they weren't hostile. Maybe if she killed one they'd back off? There was always the chance they were like her and loved the feeling of a challenging fight. Maybe they weren't even intelligent.
