History:
Kira was born as Arose Yamato's first child, or so Arose thought. After a large family shattering event, it became evident that Kira was not the eldest child of the family. Seth Yamato, Arose's son from an old flame took up that mantle. Kira grew up resenting his older brother for taking up the title of oldest and for tearing his mother and father apart.

History:

Growing up, Kira was always acting out in an attempt to receive attention from his family. To him, it felt like the only time they acted like they cared about him was when they were grounding him or yelling at him for getting in trouble. He was always doing things like not paying attention in class, tagging buildings with his own special brand of graffiti, or getting caught in the school supply closet with a girl. Finally after being caught doing consensual illicit acts three times in three different supply closets with three different girls in one day, Kira's old school wiped their hands free of him. Instead, his father opted to pull Kira to 552, where he taught.
But then when they needed him the most, the avatar disappeared. That was until just before a certain ship entered a certain wormhole. A devilishly handsome rogue appeared... to steal it.
