[/b] Austin would shake off Axel's words. He was adamant that these exchanges needed to be a neutral as possible, as friendly as they could hope to be. That was the only way they made it out of this without having to worry about their lives. At least at this time. When Halani and her constituent approached, her allies body language seemed to point toward some sort of apology, in which he would point a finger toward Lexington and repeat the same hand motions she had, in attempt to say sorry for his friend. Halani began to speak in kind, mentioning the Starsquall and then began to count, he assumed anyways, due to the body language produced as she spoke. His hand lifted to scratch his chin momentarily, before he returned words. "Hmm.." He would hold his hands out in front of him, his ten fingers extended. He counted to ten, wiggling each finger as he did before he closed his fists and repeated the process nine more times, only counting to ten the first. "One-hundred" Give or take, that was around the size of the entire crew. He doubted very much that they all made it, but he was sure many had to have survived. People like Lexington and himself, definitely. Even Axel had survived, so it wasn't out of the realm of possibility. [/ul] [/blockquote]

"I agree with Austin. The way I see it, trying to beat answers or interrogate these people will only end negatively. I just experienced how strong they can be, that crater where my head should've been lets me know how strong she really is. Not a chance I'm willing to take again. Especially since all three of us aren't in optimal condition." It was at this moment that Halani and her ally had presented themselves to Lexington and his peers. fortunately for Lex, the leader of the group didn't have her fists up and instead Lexington could make out that they were willing to let tensions settle. "Austin...Lexington." He said as he pointed to Austin and then pointed to himself in an attempt to make an introduction. Lexington would then clasp both hands together and bow before both women. "Hope that did something."
Lexington would then turn toward the canyon wall and slowly raise his right hand. Steadily a large earthen ramp would erect itself toward the edge of the canyon wall. Lexington turned towards Austin. "At first I was going to hop onto that slab of metal over there that came from the Squall, try to sail down the river to avoid this group. In hindsight, I'm glad I didn't or you wouldn't have found me." Lexington pointed towards the ramp he made. "Knuckles I've gotta say you've gotten pretty good at negotiations. This ramp will lead us up towards that forest where her supposed army is, we could try to enlist help so we can find the others." Lexington let out a sigh "I pray that your friend Halani can get us far. Would hate to get double-crossed and surrounded by an army. Would be just like ol' times though."
