★ Elkie (3IK1) ★
Played by: Sia
Faceclaim: Darling In the FRANXX, 002
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Weight and Height: 124 lbs. & 63 in.
Appearance:
Occupation: Cadet
Personality: Elkie is oddly like a child, not having developed emotional maturity. Due to this, her reactions are irregular, she's selfish and absolutely oblivious. However, this does not stop her curiosity. Elkie wants to know about the reasons behind why others act how they do. True, she is a weapon, cold and calculating, but behind that is a child that never learned. Even though Elkie will fight without hesitation, kill or be killed herself, the childlike wonder within her wants to marvel at all she's been unaware of.
Background: Coming from a country of war, the occupying military took in orphans to train as soldiers. As a child, Soldier 3IK1 was trained to be a weapon. Due to this, 3IK1 or Elkie has no recollection or knowledge of parents and family. Elkie, living as a soldier, took commands, never questioned authority, and never hesitated. All she has ever known about herself is that she is not human. The military, disgusted and admittedly nervous, treated her as a lesser being. As a demon. Elkie, naturally, accepted this role and integrated it into her life. When the military was defeated, their enemies taking control by force, Elkie was liberated. Surprisingly, the enemy was much more sympathetic than the military that had trained her. They tried to reintegrate Elkie back into normal society, offering her rights and freedom. However, Elkie by this point was nearly a mature adult. Efforts made by the government to educate her were messy at best. Elkie caused chaos at every point, unable to understand emotions of others. Upon reaching the age of adulthood, the government made the decision to try and let her into society. After a series of disasters, they took her back into custody, before sending her to join The Starbound Initiative.
Skills:
Stealth: Part of Elkie's fearsome reputation in the military was her unnerving ability to surprise people. Quick and precise, she strikes before retreating, typically ending it in one blow.
Reliability: As a soldier, orders were absolute. Elkie fights until it kills her. Even if knocked unconscious the moment she recovers, Elkie fights again.
Curiosity: Elkie is often drawn to that which she doesn't understand- which is everything outside of sparring and combat. Constant observance, an abundance of questions, and imitation all stem from her insatiable curiosity about the world around her.
Weaknesses:
Unrelenting: Elkie, while reliable, doesn't know when to stop. Therefore she will fight until it kills her, get up even if wounded.
Oblivious: Elkie has been raised to be a weapon. Weapons cannot feel, cannot think. Therefore, after being liberated, Elkie just began to learn emotions, how to feel them, and normal social cues.
Gullible: In addition to being emotionally unaware, Elkie doesn't have enough knowledge of the world outside to refute claims, any claim, actually. Therefore, she believes everything she's told if given a seemingly plausible reason.
Gifts: Invisibility - while fighting Elkie can turn one part of her body invisible. With the appearance of her claws and horns, Elkie receives an endurance buff.
Statistics: Strength - B / Agility - B / Endurance - B(A) / Perception - B
