Olympian
Personality:
Lexington is an arrogant, upbeat personality with a slight touch of introvert. Most of the time he exercises good judgement, the rare chances that he is caught being risky are usually during combat. Having won so many accolades has given him good reason to believe that he is clearly better than you in almost everything physical. His demeanor is calm, he is cool and collected. Lexington understands that for himself, being in a stable mindset allows him to efficiently utilize the best of his skills. Lastly, he believes in fluidity and consistent progression.
Background:
Lexington was born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, New York. His mother is an engineer and former NCAA basketball player standing at 6’2 and his father is a mixed martial arts instructor and underwater welder standing at 6’10. He also has an older brother who is currently one of the nations best psychologists. Forgoing all of his early life we jump to Lexington’s turning point. As a sophomore Lexington was invited to his high school's Senior Prom. Unfortunately during prom a fight broke out between several of Lexington’s friends and several senior all over their respective dates. Immature in this stage, Lexington enjoyed the prospect of violence so he joined in and the fight escalated to the point where Lexington beat eight seniors unconscious before being taken down by staff. The scene sparked an outrage amongst parents and the students' injuries displayed enough evidence that the school expelled Lexington. No other school within commuting distance showed any interest towards him due to his role in the prom beating, as such Lexington was left with no choice but to cut his losses and attend PHS where he had recently completed his Junior year and then completed his Senior year.
Lexington's Junior year at his new school was much more than he bargained for. Memory of his first supernatural occurrence is still incredibly clear for as far back as he can remember. Within a week, Lexington was kidnapped and left for dead in a factory with another student from the school. He managed to find clues of what happened in the time he was unconscious, he was knocked out as he snooped and woke up completely fine the next day. It was a weird start to a new school.
A few months later Lexington managed to secure the title of the Second Pillar from a former student. This gave Lexington a much higher standing among the students and in a sense it helped to shape his attitude. He fielded challenges almost every other week in his Junior year testing his physical abilities and prowess. Winning fight after fight helped in developing a sweet attitude for winning. He remained a Pillar throughout his Junior year.
Several months later, Lexington was kidnapped again a second time and used as one of five subjects for an unknown scientist’s experiments. The results of these experiments were costly to the public and to the subject students as well. The test basically messed with all of their minds. Lexington and his fellow students were also implanted with a chip that gave each of them a sinister power. June 8th, 2015. Lexington unconsciously masked as a criminal known as the Aegis, ran rampant through central New York causing mayhem. Several students from a local high school attempted to stop the Aegis to no success. One female student lost an arm during the battle as cars were destroyed and civilians were injured in his war path. A second wave of wicked super powered students managed to reinforce the first and bring the Aegis down. Lexington however had no recollection of the event, he managed to deduce that he was the Aegis by matching similar body features and fighting styles that the Aegis used on tape. The way the Aegis moved, the exact same scar on their arms, the fact that they were the same physique all stood out to Lexington. As such, Lexington initially wanted to bury the concept of being such a villainous person, but given the events that had occurred prior to the attack on NY. Lexington simply wanted to find answers. However the events only got worse. Gangs were common in Lexington’s school and a snake themed gang attacked the school in mass. Lexington was forced to stay and fight off many of the gang members in order to protect his classmates. He fought hard to protect his classmates or atleast the ones he liked, but he still failed as he killed several gang members but lost a few students as well. It took a toll on him mentally. Ending out his Junior year, Lexington had difficulty looking for a brighter next year.
Senior year at PHS made an attempt to rival Junior year. The constant complaints of students destroying parts of the city had hit an all time low. A district was implemented around the school in an attempt to contain all of the students. One of Lexington’s close friends was publicly beheaded while another had mysteriously vanished. Life was more than depressing and the rest of events that unfolded throughout the year were no more positive than the last. As the school year began to close out, Lexington began to receive scholarship offers. Right before his graduation, Lexington accepted an invitation to Melbourne, Australia.
Skills and Weaknesses: Strengths
Athlete: Track and Field, American Football, Rugby, Basketball. Every sport requires a different method of training, new programs and routines to keep the body in prime conditioning. Lexington has movements from each sport and incorporated them into his everyday work ethic.
Scholar: This will be Lexington’s fourth school. If he opens his mouth to speak, don’t expect something stupid. Coming into this institute with collegiate knowledge, Lexington has applied fine mathematics and sciences to his knowledge base allowing him to come up with a reasonable rationale for any actions he makes which also allows for sound decision-making within a team-oriented environment.
Leader: Taking the previous two attributes and fusing them into one. The end result creates a unique Leader, a natural at gathering the ears and attention of those around him. While more of a personality trait, being a leader is a strength because it shows that Lexington can be relied upon by his peers and superiors, he prioritizes team-building and effective communication.
Weaknesses:
One-track mind: While a good leader, Lexington has a strong propensity for becoming one-track minded. It almost like a tunnel vision is enabled and his goal is to complete whichever personal objective he has set for himself. Because of that he sometimes acts solely by himself out of habit and excludes squad members, this proves to be very detrimental in a team-oriented environment
World-Champion Attitude: A terrible trait, the guy is arrogant and it’s as simple as that. The few, less than a handful of losses that he has suffered were so long ago they haven’t tarnished his attitude. Cussing, flexing, rushing to conclusions are right up this character’s alley. Too much testosterone. Too many chances to make a costly mistake.
Gifts:
Geo-Kinesis: The geo-kinetic ability to manipulate earth and rock in all of its various forms. Shaping crystals, gems, and other earth-based materials also fall under this category. Creating columns, steps, walls, doors and platforms, the ability has a wide range of uses in a construction type setting. In terms of a combative use, the user can levitate stone or even throw it at an opponent and even launch themselves by moving earth quickly to their feet. At higher levels the user is able to utilize a finer use of their skill with feats such as creating an armor of rock or crystal to aid with defense and tunneling underground. The highest level of this ability sees the user being able to sustain flight on platforms or standings comprised of earth material, they have a far greater ability in terms of compressing rock together offensively and defensively to create large structures.
Aegis Implant: This neural implant is merged with its host. It gives the host enhanced biological capabilities. A few examples such as an immunity to disease an aversion to contaminants like alcohol, drugs, and poisons and even an increased resistance to heat and cold.
Metal Manipulation: Branching off of Lexington’s Geo Kinesis he also has a minor ability to manipulate the earth related molecules that are found within metals. Effectively allowing him to bend solid metal to his will.
