Disclaimer: Eira is an alien, however this is on a need-to-know basis. Her appearance and powers are being played off IC as a side-effect of her gifts, and her appearance at the beginning will be mostly covered with an Astraeus Institute Mantle described in the profile. The only people who know her true origins are Luca, Anya etc.

★ Eira’aui ★ Played by: Rie (Luna) Faceclaim: Custom Art
Age: ?? (visibly 15)
Gender: ?? (female pronouns)
Weight and Height: 5'3”, 140lbs
Appearance: Lavender skin- soft to the touch, with two independent tails; vivid rose-coloured hair, large jade eyes and pure-as-white ivory horns… Not one bit of this girl stands out as “normal”, and that’s fair to say… As even the word “girl” is questionable here. Eira ████ ████ ██ ███████ ███████ , born from a planet under a different sun, many of the distinct qualities which make up a homosapien transfer across here too- and as do the parts which make up individuality.
Compared to your average human counterpart, Eira has a rather slim build; firm with the faintest bit of muscle hidden beneath her own Initiative’s form-fitting outfit designed for mild acclimatisation. Not too dissimilar-looking hands with opposable thumbs can be found, each having slender fingers with the faint remains of ancestral paw-pad like features, as well as incredibly dense and pointed fingernails which are charcoal in colour. Eira’s facial expression is always seemingly feline in nature, which may in part be due to the triangular shape and large hunter-esque eyes, as well as soft lips almost indefinitely curved up at the corners. While her expression may be rather feline in impression, her expressions very rarely explain how she is feeling. Her body language is dissimilar in effect; expressive, however almost always kept to herself.
Eira is rarely seen without an Astraeus Institute Mantle- a gift given to her after successfully arriving on Earth discreetly. This cloak has been specifically modified to disperse nanomachine controlled “particles” which are constantly shifting around Eira to conceal various aspects of her alien-like appearance, while also providing additional acclimatization benefits.
Occupation: ████████ ██ █████ ███, Cadet
Personality: Eira’s personality is almost as curious as her appearance- despite being from another intelligent species, the difference in culture and general perceived morals varies considerably; as do ideals and best practices. Despite the species’ collective intelligence, their methodology is still rather primal in comparison to humanity. The concept of going “too far” is beyond Eira’s thoughts. Simply put, death is common as a form of punishment in her society despite how far they have progressed technologically, however “trial and error” is a much more common way of progression than Earth’s “research” approach to advancement. These things of course, translate very neatly to how Eria perceives the world, and how she sees things morally- █████ ███ █████ ██ ███. It has become apparent that despite her friendly gaze, it is difficult to discern between different states of emotions from facial features alone- and rather her body language is much more appropriate to concentrate on when it comes to such matters. ████ █ ███ from our behavioral analyst division remarked the following:
“It’s a difficult thing to talk about, considering the vast differences in lifestyle- it’s come to the point where even micro expressions are almost negligible when trying to figure out what she is thinking. Focusing on more chemical behavior was key as her emotional states rely heavily on the way her body produces hormones- figuring this was the key to creating an accurate profile of Eira. Having said that, she seems just as sensible as most people here so I would wholeheartedly doubt any need to worry about her strength unless provoked. Having a conversation with her was rather refreshing, and while there were many words, or aspects from our culture which she didn not understand, her friendliness and willing to go through the effort to correct herself was admirable.”
Background: ██ ███ ███████ █████ ████ █ ████, relations with another intelligent foreign species (██ █████) with similar aspirations comes to light; Eira is uniquely brought to the Astraeus Institute to learn about culture and assist in missions which will further build upon, and reinforce the relationship between Humans and her home species. Through a collaborative project following on from various satellite launches, this new species was first to respond. Eira, a high ranking official from █████ ██ ████ has come here on a one-way journey to further share intel and unite the two species as part of longer term goals which satisfy both governments. A return trip may be far in the future (dependant on SI’s progress), however due to their “trial and error” approach to advancement, seemingly sacrificing Eira to a new planet was a quick decision- and one which she was in favour of.
From her integration training, we were able to figure out many aspects of her life from before her time working with the best of the best on her planet. Most notably she was brought up and trained for her role from a very young age with strict discipline.
██ █████ as a collective have significantly advanced further as far as galactic travel is concerned, however their technology is surprisingly much worse off than that of Earth.
Skills and Weaknesses: + Decisive | Eira’s culture explains her rational when it comes to trying things first and asking questions later. While this may sound like a disadvantage to people on Earth, having been raised from birth to make decisions quickly, her quick actions remain reasonably logical and explains her species’ rapid (however reckless) development in certain sectors. + Logically focused | Eira’s species is not known for its extensive research phases, however when it comes down to logic and assumptions, her species is known to be incredibly talented at working in complex situations. + Emotional control | Eira’s emotions are heavily linked to chemicals and hormones from various glands- many of which her species are controllable and are able to be released on command. This allows her to regulate her emotional state at a conscious level for the most part.
- Chemical effects | While Eira is able to regulate her own emotions through chemicals, these same chemicals can have lasting effects- any emotions she displays may last for a considerable time after they have been released. This is a common case for unintentional emotional outbreaks where unintended. - Inability to read emotions | As expected from another species, fully understanding the actions of any human is difficult to say the least. While she is capable of simple emotional understanding, any complex emotions she witnesses may be misinterpreted or may leave her confused. - Cultural inexperience | Eira is learning about humanity every day, and she is very likely to do things which may seem rude or unsavoury. She will however, put in the effort to correct herself if she discovers her mistakes. - Technological inexperience | Eira’s species has a surprising lack of technology, particularly when it comes to research-oriented equipment. Despite having made her way over to Earth, many inventions such as advanced weaponry or electronics with incredibly small microprocessors go far beyond her understanding.
Gifts: Primary • Contact Alteration | Tier 1 | Eira’s stats are permanently reduced to tier C. For each stat reduced, the allocation points are stored (e.g. STR A→C = 2 STR points stored. AGI S→C = 4 AGI points stored). These stored points can be distributed/”spent” freely among Eira’s party when activated, and the buff effect lasts for the same amount of turns that the Contact Alteration points are not in use. At gift tier 1, a maximum of +1 stat tier (e.g. B→A for 1 point, or A→S for two points) can be applied to each individual base stat of any single person. These points may be spent independently of one another (and also be spent across multiple people). Unspent points will continue to earn duration charges each turn they are not in use. This ability requires physical contact to activate the effect, and the duration countdown begins from the moment it was activated.
Secondary • Prehensile Adaptation | Tier 1 | Eira has two additional limbs in the form of tails, which have physical stats equal to Eira’s STR, AGI and END. These additional limbs are considerably more flexible than normal limbs and have a reach no further than any other limbs, however can be used efficiently for grappling, touch effects and a-typical maneuvers such as climbing. These tails may be controlled independently from one another.
• Alteration Charges | Tier 1 | Every time a person Eira has buffed with Contact Alteration makes a related action (e.g. They block an attack while an END buff is active), Eira builds up 1 Alteration Charge. These charges can be used to supercharge a party member’s primary gift following another touch action; The effectiveness of this gift may be increased further if multiple Alteration Charges are consumed in one action (1 charge spent = minor buff, 5 charges spent = greater buff). Instead of having a set duration, the effects of this ability will be activated when the target player next uses their gift (in the case of characters with passive gifts, this buff may be activated for one turn at the target character’s discretion). Eira can only earn a maximum of 1 charge per person per round. While on missions, the potency of Eira’s Alteration Charges is subject to GM discretion.
