★ Macht Stärke ★ Played by: Kiin Faceclaim: D.Gray-Man, Lavi Bookman
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Weight and Height: 340 lbs (225lbs w/o prostheses), 6'9"
Appearance: Tall and lean, Macht is a man who has a near flawless physique. Even missing his left arm and leg, his body is toned and shredded, with a very low body fat percentage, and his figure his maintained through a rigorous workout regimen mostly sex. His limbs are quite long, with his wingspan being 6'10" and his inseam length being 40". His body looks chiseled, as if it were sculpted - and he earned that. It is, unfortunately, riddled with scars; after losing two of his limbs, more than half of his remaining body had been covered in scar tissue.
Macht's face and neck are the only parts of him that he's lucky enough to not have scar-riddled, aside from the few on his right eyelids. His jawline is chiseled, firm, and strong, and his smile is something that's been known to make the ladies weak in the knees. Macht's hair falls greatly when left unkempt, but it's styled to be that way. The eyepatch is there to cover the socket where his right eye used to be, but even that helps him look stylish.
As far as distinguishing marks that aren't his numerous scars, Macht also has a variety of tattoos from his younger years, when he ran with many gangs. Most notably is the tattoo of a dragon that ran along his back, almost as if it were Yakuza-styled.
Macht's prosthetic limbs have been remodeled to look closer to a normal arm and leg of flesh and bone, but still are quite heavy and well-built. The arm itself is about 30lbs, with the leg being about 85lbs. Both are equipped well enough to handle the hurt he can dish out.

Occupation: Captain, Nightclub owner
Personality: Macht believes everyone needs to prove their worth in this world, no matter how they need to do so. Respect isn't something that is freely given, it is earned, and earning it requires hard work and dedication. Anyone who can't put in the work, to him, is not worth his time.
Background: Zelig and Muriel Stärke had four children, of which Macht was the third-born: Adelheid, oldest by two years, and the only one lucky enough to escape the family madness; Genevieve, born Geralt, older twin to Macht, and an abuser of multiple substances to make up for the trauma in her life; Macht, younger twin to Genevieve, a man scarred with only half a body remaining; and Marko, ashamed of his father so much he changed his name and estranged himself from the family. Muriel Stärke is deceased - passed in her sleep - and her children were left orphaned as her husband disappeared from the world.
While there is enough sorrow in the lives of all the Stärke children to write a series of unfortunate events, tonight, we focus simply on Macht. With Adelheid being the first to be adopted, and Marko and Genevieve following not long after, Macht was left to fend for himself in the orphanage. As a child, he never fit in; he was small, frail, weak, sickly, and pathetic. Typically, he was the target for most of the other kids' abuse. This abuse was usually small, like pushing him over or taking his toys, but on his seventh birthday, he underwent one of his greatest personal traumas.
Blake Walder was the "cool kid" at the orphanage, who made Macht his target since the redhead arrived. On Macht's seventh birthday, at midnight, Blake and his friends pinned Macht down in his bed. Two held each of his limbs down, while Blake mounted him in the bed, a rusted metal fork in his hand. Macht has forgotten exactly what Blake said that night, but one thing he could never forget was when the boy held Macht's right eyelids open, and jammed that fork into his eyesocket. Macht couldn't even scream, because his mouth was stuffed with old, dirtied clothes. His eye was ripped out from the socket, and then beaten in the night. In the morning, he was sent to the hospital.
A week passed, and Macht finally woke up. With no home to go to, he was turned back to the orphanage. Back to Blake, and his gang of miscreants who would continue to make Macht's life a living hell. He couldn't do it anymore, he couldn't stay there. The boy ran away from his "home" and turned to a life of crime to feed himself. He stole from local vendors to get bread, milk, water, apples, anything he could get to eat or drink and just survive. Soon, he was noticed for how skilled he was as a young pickpocket, and made his way through several gangs in his childhood.
Macht's life as a young gangster continued until he was 14 years old, when he was adopted into the Amakusa family by a boy young enough to be his older brother; the son of the governor of New York City, Takehiro Amakusa. Under Takehiro's care and tutelage, Macht turned his life around. He slowly started to make his way to being a better person, even if he never stopped truly living that life of crime he became so accustomed to.
When he was 16, Macht met Austin Huntsman, the man who he'd now call his brother just as he would Marko - Mikey, now. He met Lexington Steele and Levi Kayamei, other great individuals, and Shugo Yuy and Valo Morei - both people he hates with all of his heart. But these would be some of the most influential people in his life.
Not long after he turned 17, Macht lost both his left arm and leg when he defended his school from an unknown assailant, known only as The Ghoul. They were rended, ripped apart, but still, he fought on. With half his body basically dead, Macht continued out into the city to save the rest of it, taking the fight to the Aegis, the Banshee, and the Sentinel. The boy was broken, mentally and physically, but still, he did his best to fight not for himself, but for those around him.
Years went on, and Macht slowly began to fall out of the public eye. He fought against powerful gangs led by monsters among men, armies of darkness and fear, and hordes of men and women who wanted to see him and his own dead, and lost another piece of himself in every fight he went through. Finally, he decided he didn't want to fight anymore, opened up his own business, and fell out of the public eye. Macht Stärke was tired of fighting. He wanted to help the world still, just in a different way. He seeks to help it through science, through his inventions.
Macht is not at Astraeus Institute by choice, as the gifted of the world were all forcefully relocated here. However, he chooses to make the most of this opportunity that he can. Through the Starbound Initiative, he seeks to better humanity in some way - and also find a way to build great life for himself and whatever princess ends up staying in his castle. Macht's goals are simple: to build a life where he can be happy, and he feels he can do that here.
Skills and Weaknesses: Strongman: Macht is the epitome of a strongman, with almost no discernible physical limitations. Inventor: Macht's prostheses are his own design, and he can make plenty more like them. Linguist: Macht has put a lot of time into studying language, and is fluent in Spanish, German, and Japanese as well as English.
Half-Man: With two fake limbs and one fake eye, Macht has an incredible amount of glaring, physical weaknesses. His arms and second eye can be disabled any number of ways, and doing so would leave him incapable of adequately defending himself, regardless of his raw power. Arrogant: Macht hasn't lost a single fight in several years, even against some of the strongest men and women in the world. Because of this, he's grown arrogant - is there really anyone who can defeat him? He thinks not, and it can lead to his downfall. Temperamental: While typically happy or fun-loving, Macht has been known to be quick to anger. Many things can set him off, and as of now it seems like once he gets angry, there's hardly anything that will calm him down besides his pure, unadulterated violence getting its fill.
Gifts: Herculean Strength: Lvl 1. Macht isn't just naturally strong, his gift increases his normally beast-like strength to even greater heights. Bumps his Strength stat up by one tier. Lvl 2. Even stronger now than he was before, Macht continues to exceed the limit of what the human body is naturally capable of. Bumps his Strength stat up by one tier. Iron Body: Lvl 1. Breaking through Macht's defenses is nearly impossible, given both his natural durability is already insane, let alone when combined with his gift. Bumps his Endurance stat up by one tier. Motion Control: Lvl 1. Macht's body is capable of performing maneuvers most others are not, including moving at full speed/force from a stand-still, as well as completely recovering control after committing to moves that would otherwise leave him open for too long. Astraeus Mantle: Lvl 1. TBD.
