    Drift is slightly above average height and with a sturdy, muscled build. Her muscles are all very toned, and she has a curvaceous figure that she often shows off by wearing minimal clothing. Aside from showing off her body, she’s also a bit of a free spirit and believes less clothing gives her better range of movement.

    Drift has lightly tanned skin with numerous scars from living life on the streets, yellow eyes, and long red hair that reaches her hips which she usually keeps tied back into a ponytail. Her typical style has a bit of a punk look to it, usually consisting of shorts, knuckles gloves and a crop top or bikini top of sorts, then different jackets and jewelry to accent her look. While she typically has a pretty fiery disposition and walks around like she owns the world, she can sometimes been seen with a poor skin tone, bloodshot eyes, and slumped shoulders from substance abuse.

    Drift is a human train wreck. She’s basically a mound made up of her own poor decisions and their consequences all piled up on top of each other to create a trash human being. The girl has no direction in life and does everything by the seat of her pants. She’s never really had anyone looking out for her and didn’t go to college or have a steady job, so she’s known for a long time she wasn’t going anywhere. From a young age, she expected to die in a fight on the streets or in some type of gang conflict. Because of her lack of vision for the future, she lives each day for herself and has given up finding any sort of purpose. In her early teen years when she’d gotten out of her first gang, she had at least some semblance of desire to change things, but she’d at least had a legal guardian looking out for her then.

    Even if she has no long terms goals, Drift knows how to set her mind on short term ones and is determined to get what she wants. She’s not worried what people think of her, and typically just assumes she’s going to piss people off at one point or another, so why bother walking on eggshells to avoid it? In spite of her abrasive disposition, Drift is extremely outgoing and charismatic, so she has plenty of connections around the institute and the city even though it hasn’t been that long since she was relocated. She’s very assertive and likes to be in control, often calling superiors by there first name to establish dominance. Her cheeky attitude and overbearing personality often get her in trouble, but she’s not afraid to get hurt and accepts that pain’s kind of just a part of life.

    Drift is wild. She does whatever she wants without thought of consequences, whether it be pulling off life threatening stunts for the adrenaline rush, going to parties, drinking herself into a stupor, or flirting with anyone who suits her fancy. She’s into guys and girls and can be obnoxiously flirtatious when she’s in the mood for it. While Drift will show short lived interest, she’s not the type to chase people. Sure, some people play hard to get, but if someone clearly doesn’t even want to be her friend she won’t push it. The way she looks at it, the people that belong in her life will come and stay there. She shouldn’t have to beg them to.

    While Drift may seem like a happy free spirit type of girl just living life on the edge, there are downsides to such a lifestyle. Due to a lack of guidance and so many poor choices growing up, Drift battles addictions and alcoholism, her struggle with both of those issues often getting her into trouble. She also has a lot of enemies who would like to see her hurt or even dead due to her unyielding personality.

    While Drift may seem like she’s just a hard-ass with an indomitable will, everyone has a softer side. She doesn’t like to show emotions since she feels it makes her vulnerable, but she’s capable of forming emotional attachments to people just like everyone else. She’s just kind of quiet about it and shows affection in a ‘tough love’ sort of way. The times where she lets her thoughts and feelings out she often becomes apologetic and regrets it. She’s also surprisingly supportive and encouraging to her friends, and is very adamant they see all the good in themselves that she sees in them.

    Drift has a terrible temper and a foul mouth, and while she doesn’t always lash out wildly in anger, it’s easy for her to form a negative opinion of people she doesn’t know well. Most of all she can’t stand arrogance and stupidity, she sees people who embody either of those traits as not worth her time.

    Drift’s birth name is Parvin O’dwyre, and she comes from a family with Irish roots. That’s about as much as she or anyone knows. As early as she can remember, she’d been living on the streets. Where she lived, there was an underground community of sorts for homeless kids and teens where they supported each other by pooling resources and sharing information. She grew up in that environment, which quickly led to involvement in gangs. Her very first gang was known as the FAM (Fugitive Anarchist Mercenaries—they thought they were pretty cool for being all three at once) in spite of the organization’s official name being Radium. Everyone in the group had a nickname, but Parvin didn’t get one initially due to being deemed useless. In turn, she was given the job Dog-Taker-Carer-Ofer (Yes, that was the official title.) The girl took it in stride, just viewing it as her first position before she rose through the ranks. Being a pretty determined little shit, she eventually was accepted as an official member after saving the whole gang along with her squad of doggos, and was given the name Drift. She’s gone by that ever since, and hates when anyone calls her Parvin.

    The gang went on all sorts of adventures, but it eventually met its demise. After the event that brought down Radium, Drift was found in a broken down RV suffering from extreme blood loss due to a stab wound.The man who found her was Beckett Foley, a retired soldier. After making sure she received the treatment she needed, he decided to adopt her himself since he liked her fire. Her life took a turn for the better then. She was still a punk-ass kid and a total tomboy with reckless tendencies, but her appreciation and respect for Foley helped pave a better path for her life. She began going to school, and while her grades sucked, she had a better outlook on life. This lasted maybe a year or so before Foley was murdered by some people from a gang that hated Radium even though the group was long gone. Drift barely escaped with her life and blames herself for his death every day, not understanding why he was dragged into something that had nothing to do with them.

    Drift fell back into her old self-destructive life style on the streets where she had more experiences with gangs and violence on the streets. She was used, hurt and broken down more and more day by day due to her dangerous and unsustainable life style. As time went on she continued to make poor choices to the point where she viewed herself as a lost cause and came to expect and accept that she’d die young because of her own stupidity. Drift eventually spiraled down far enough to the point where she began substance abuse and became an alcoholic, which is something she still struggles with. When her gift developed, she was pulled out of her hell hole of a life style and taken to the Astraeus Institute. Its a huge contrast to her old life, and she still doesn’t know what to think of it.

Density Manipulation:

Drift is able to manipulate the density of her own body and some objects. At her most dense, Drift is impossibly heavy, weighing as much as a car (about 2 tons). With her super dense muscles, she’s able to hit extra hard in the state, causing her strength and endurance to go up by one tier, but only in her denser forms. In turn, her agility also drops by a tier. While in her dense form she can maintain her strength and endurance buff, her actual weight can be manipulated on a scale from slightly heavier to her heaviest weight. Maintaining her heaviest weight is taxing and is best used in short bursts. If over done it can lead to fatigue, double vision, and eventually a loss of consciousness which can range from a few hours to a few days depending on the situation. She is also able to manipulate the density of objects she touches that are equal to or less than half her body weight (65 lbs) but this isn't useful for much other than pranks or making pillow fights really unfair.

Rivenstein Gauntlets:

Rivenstein is the name of a pair of gauntlets a scientist she used to know developed for her, named after the man himself. They’re extremely durable and can shoot out blasts of lasers. They can build up power by taking hits directly to the gauntlet, so the more hits she blocks with them the larger and father the beam can travel. Initially the gauntlets are as good as any other long ranged weapon, shooting at about 20 feet max with a fairly destructive force. Every five strikes adds 20 more feet to the range and makes the damage more vicious.
