Faceclaim: ₩ANKE, Original Character
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Weight and Height:
5 Feet, 2 Inches. 112 Pounds.
Appearance:
Occupation:
None
Personality:
A seemingly indifferent observer. Anony is certainly the oddball type, not making any sort of effort to forge lasting relationships. In conversation, she comes off as a coy, often philosophical young lady with an atmosphere seemingly out of this world. Contrary to how it may seem with her mysterious smile and constant questioning of others ideals and intentions, she doesn't see herself superior to people in any way. That said, she does see a difference between herself and others, but recognizes neither as being superior or inferior to the other. As a force in the world, she's regarded as a True Neutral individual, not favoring the righteous or the wicked in her affiliations, but rather, going back and forth as opportunities for confrontation present themselves.
Like much about her, it's unknown whether she considers the concepts of friendship or love in her own life. What is known, is that she lacks any sort of materialistic qualities. She doesn't care particularly for earthly possessions, and for the most part, the same goes for people. If she was presented with a choice between protecting the earth, or the humanity which populates it, she'd very likely choose the world. That isn't to say she sees people on the level of objects, but they hold a similar value to her personally.
In general conversation, Anony is polite and respectful. If asked for help, she's likely to comply in most cases, without any sort of complaints in doing so. Despite how seemingly estranged she is to the human population, she does hold compassion for unfortunate people, be them of a good or vile nature, and if she so feels it, she may go out of her way to lift this person up before leaving their life once again.
Background:
There's not a lot people know about Anony or who she was before coming to Australia, but it is certain she's entirely human, despite what some traits about her would suggest. As of the current date, she has no parents or legal guardians, supposedly living on her own in some place or another.
Anony's estrangement to society began when she was fairly young, starting at the point she discovered her Gifts. She was always strange to others personality wise, and found others generally confusing to understand in the midst of contradictions and actions lacking any sort of logic. Her abilities were likely the last straw pushing her from relating in any way aside from basic bodily structure. Very quickly, she began to regard herself as a separate organism from average humans, which allowed her to cope with her differences in little time, soon accepting herself entirely.
Despite being a member of "The Gifted", she's always been an individual devoid of natural talent. For years, she struggled to find some sort of calling, but she never discovered an activity she held a knack for. Between her own inability and lack of a proper figure to help along the way, Anony decided near adolescence that she would remain talentless for her years. To fill the gap in her heart created from constant failure, she found herself taking to the observance of the talents and triumphs of others. And finding pleasure in this, she pursued greater talent, bringing her curious gaze to the Starbound Program's participants in the country of Australia. Long story short, she was quickly noticed taking a peak in and confronted. When the opportunity to join the experiment was presented, Anony took the offer without any qualms whatsoever.
Skills and Weaknesses:
The Universal Bandwagon - No matter how close Anony can become to someone, she'll never pledge an undying loyalty to that person. If she feels "switching sides" is necessary, she'll do just that. Whether she considers someone to be an ally or an enemy is an on-the-spot diagnosis.
Fairly Balanced - Between the benefits of her wings and her natural attributes, Anony has little real shortcomings. Essentially, she's greater than the average human in every way, pushing her speed even further with the use of Fumeiyo 『R』. But on the flip side, while she could be a Jack of All Trades, that also means she's really a master of none. Single stat extremists will almost always have the upper hand in some way.
Accepting - This is regardless of history or background. She treats everyone equally with care.-Until there's a reason to consider someone an enemy anyway.
Lacks a Sense of Camaraderie - As said, she treats all equally, regardless of history. Even if one were to find friendship with her, she isn't likely to treat them any different. In layman's terms, it's like she lacks a relationship progress bar in any aspect.
Gifts:
Fumeiyo 『R』 (Primary) - The Requiem stance variant of base Fumeiyo; an ability extremely rare to find in it's perfect form. Anony's take on it includes a number of destructive attacks, with lightning or black flames being a recurring theme. Her move set is often described as being "much like a chessboard." But in a freakishly literal sense. At it's current state however, she only has command over the Rook, Pawn, and Bishop "Pieces." Pawns are special: For each "Pawn" successfully landed, 1 piece is recovered from any other expended piece pool. If no alternate pieces have been used, the Pawn is simply used up come the end of Anony's attack.
Pawn (8 Pieces) - Standard attack, in other words. Combines regular punches or kicks with a divine lightning punch to it. This is mainly used in conjunction with The Fallen Wings of Icarus, where Anony will strike with either wing, inflicting the mentioned "magical" damage.
Rook (2 Pieces) - A powerful dashing attack. Anony takes off in a single direction, left, right, back, or foward; a divine lightning covering her person all the while. Colliding directly with an opponent deals damage.
Bishop (2 Pieces) - Maybe not as offensively useful as the Rook, but Bishops allow Anony to dodge in any diagonal direction from her current position with an increased speed. Distance of movement is short however.
____________________________________________________
Fallen Wings of Icarus (Secondary) - The wings on her back. These shrink down when not in use or being shown off. With them, Anony is capable of flight, but for no more than around five seconds or so, before the wings grow tired and impotent. Alternatively, they can be used to block attacks in an effort to reduce the damage some, or just to get a little more "umph" with your jump.
Statistics:
Strength - B
Agility - A (S During execution of Rook or Bishop)
Endurance - C (B When blocking with The Fallen Wings of Icarus)
Perception - B
