Appearance: A mess of dense, medium length grey hair; bagged red eyes; Tetsuo's appearance is years of neglect in the making. Unkempt in every way imaginable, he's almost always seen wearing the same pair of clothes no matter what the occasion is. Characterized often as sadistic, Tetsuo can be usually be seen with a shark-like, ghoulish grin on his face while he goes about his day.

Personality: Tetsuo is a very greedy young man. He sees the world through his own personal lens, and he's egocentric enough to believe that it's all for him to take as he pleases. He has no qualms with hindering or hurting other people, and his hedonistic nature usually has him running over anyone and everyone in his wake as a result.

Being the Chaotic Evil character he is, he honestly has no respect for anything other than himself at the end of the day. Tetsuo places his personal freedom above all else, which has placed him in an incredibly irritated state on campus. He often disobeys anyone unless he has no alternative, and he has a strong desire to break everything involved with the people who are effectively keeping him prisoner.

Typically uncontrollable, there are a few things that keep him on a tight leash. Aside from the obvious use of force, he's unable to travel long distances on his own without causing trouble; and its quite easy to keep a semblance of control over him when using the appropriate 'people' for less than legal ways of persuasion. It's entirely possible this would also finally send him over the edge, however.

Background: As early as he could remember, his life had been dominated by his Gift. Regularly hospitalized, he had very little of a social life outside the confines of testing and appointments dictated by his relatives, and often found solace for his situation in dreams and stories. His only close friend was a physician who visited him regularly under the guise of night- a long, lanky man with grey hair and a weak constitution.

Despite how frail he was, the old Doctor was an incredible man who kept his spirits high. A peripatetic showman who gave lectures across the country, there wasn't a question that Tetsuo asked that this man didn't have an answer to. Over time he began to be bring parts of his symposiums, explaining to the young boy that the sort of things he researched were meant to help kids like him; curious, mechanical contraptions.

The nights afterwards were hell. Hours rent between the land of the living and the maddening dreamscape his mind had become - Tetsuo became trapped in his psyche for years. A strange, semi-permanent torpor that none of the doctors could figure out, let alone treat, which kept him bedridden in a hospital for months on end.

When he woke up again almost two years had passed, and he spoke madly about faceless gods and amorphous creatures taking him in the dead of night. It took years of counseling to get him back into 'working order', but something had clearly been unhinged somewhere in him, leaving him a broken boy.

He became egotistical; greedy; amoral; deceitful and neurotic. Bouncing between fits of laughter and anger was a typical occurrence for him, assuredly landing him as a delinquent no matter where he went. With no other choice he was sent to a school specifically for people like him- and even that couldn't keep him contained.

Tetsuo formed an abnormal relationship with someone for the first time while he attended the school, however. This was seen as a huge breakthrough, if only he hadn't disappeared from the records so soon after. He'd vanished completely from attendance, and the next time his name appeared anywhere was on the news after something that was labeled as a 'freak accident'.

The last place he stayed in America was witness to a traumatic accident that claimed the lives of eight children and two adults. The official story was that a critical support beam near a soon-to-be demolished building had given way beneath stress, him being the only survivor; but, it was far from the truth. The government did what they could to avoid a big mess, and handed over the captured youth to the Starbound Initiative in order to get rid of their problems.

Tetsuo was, to say the least, livid. Tied up, shipped off and restricted to the Institute, he's been an accursed existence since day one and largely refuses to cooperate with the good intentions of the Initiative while attempting to regain his freedom.

Limp Leg: After his accident Tetsuo received permanent damage to his legs, which has caused him substantial problems with movement. As a result, he's much slower, clumsier and feeble than other people when he's not being assisted by his gift; which he relies entirely on in combat.

Gifts

Horror of L'gy'hx: Tetsuo is capable of creating a thick, sticky black ichor from the pores of his skin. Initially appearing as a gelatinous, noisome slime, the substance seems to have a life of its own as it flails around wildly attempting to grab hold of the things around him. The free flowing liquid can harden and take the form of various things, such as snakes; tentacles; hands and sharp instruments to stab and slash.

Lw'nafh Ftaghu: Otherwise known as 'Understand Boundry', Tetsuo seems to have eyes in the back of his head. Utilizing the Horror of L'gy'hx, Tetsuo is able to block attacks with the amorphous fluid in any direction around him as long as it's in effect - which raises his Endurance by one tier while active.
