Background: Shouichi grew up in an orphanage for the first part of his life. No idea to what his ethnicity was, or who his family was. Even his name was just something from a comic book. That was until he was 5 years old.
The boy was adopted into the main branch of the Yuy household. There he was the youngest of the Yuy siblings. After a little initial friction between Soran, who was previously the youngest, the two became best friends. Shouichi found Valo slightly overbearing but a good brother. Shugo however, was the one he idolized. Growing up, in his mind, Shouichi felt that Shugo could do no wrong.
After watching his brother fight for years to protect New York city, Shouichi began training himself. But then one day his brother disappeared. Only with a mysterious note that he would be kept safe. Shouichi ramped up his training, seeking out Shugo's old instructor Master Bei Shin. Only recently was he recruited to the Starbound Initiative.
