Personality:
High-Class, arrogant, selfish; these are all fair words to describe Gaius with in common situations. Up front, he sees himself higher than most others, even going to the great length of calling himself the "Ultimate Weapon." Despite how confident he seems, he actually has a heavy inferiority complex. His use as a weapon is the only thing that gives him a sense of self-worth. If it wasn't for that, he'd be little more than a hollow man. But negatives aside, he's a surprisingly honorable man. One who, in the right circumstances, has a great sense of justice. He feigns disinterest in the suffering of others, but very seldom will her turn down the chance to help. Of course, he'll probably continue inflating his ego throughout the process, but it's more of a habit he's formed. In a sense, he's like a muddy block of gold, only in need of a bit of cleaning to shine.
Background:
Of all the people relocated to Australia, Gaius is one of a small number who came willingly of his own accord. It was an act of desperation; a means to establish a purpose in his life. He grew up in a rich family, not wanting for a single thing, and very quickly came to a point where he couldn't value any of his material possessions. He soon found, he had little purpose in the world.
In time, The Gifted began to make themselves known. Many all over the world were taken for their supernatural prowess, including a couple somewhat close to Gaius. He envied them greatly, and longed for a world in which he was different from the rest of the population. Money and career meant nothing. All he could ever long for, was to be special like "them." But to his frustration, he never developed any sort of ability. With the help of a scientist by the name of Miozawa however, he discovered the key to unlocking the latent potential he believed he possessed.
The day he was presented with hard proof of his power, he arranged transportation to Australia for a direct registration into the Starbound Initiative Program. He was now filled with a newfound purpose, burning brighter than he ever had before.
"Today, I live", he said triumphantly as he finally touched Australian soil, starting the beginning of a new life.
Skills and Weaknesses:
You're Too Slow~ - Enough said. Gaius is much faster than most. In his eyes, speed is key, and as a result of that mentality, along with many years of personal training, he's achieved a speed higher than most around, rising even higher with Armageddon.
Zero Hesitation - In anything. If you managed to get into a fight with him, you can expect him to be 100% sure of what he's doing at all times. He's calculation, but spends no time dawdling in situations of intense pressure.
Idealistically Illogical - Gaius thinks, believe me. But at times many might question that fact, as he's often tempted into complying with ridiculous or dangerous requests if he feels it benefits him in some way.
Arrogant - Pretty straightforward; Gaius is cocky, and fantastic at making enemies. Which is...not so fantastic.
Gifts:
Judgement『e』(Primary) - Despite what he boasts, Gaius isn't capable of tapping into his gift without an artificial lieson to channel his power properly. As a result of wearing the ring set to do so, Gaius is unable to use his full power, and committing to extended Judgement usage is taxing on the body as well. But despite the current limitations, it's still a formidable ability, being based on instantaneous construction. With Judgement, Gaius can create a seemingly endless number of weapons, but only maintain 2 at any given time. The size is limited however, and can only be up to 5 feet in length.
In addition to weapons however, Gaius can also use Judgement for defensive means, covering his body in crimson spikes to dish a bit of pain back to outside offenders. Judgement is a pick-your-flavor type of ability, allowing the user freedom to use swords or even just the raw power over one's fists. Whatever form it may take, one characteristic never changes: stronger attacks, better defense. It can dish quite the blow, but unfortunately, it has no actual effect on Gaius' strength or endurance.
Armageddon (Secondary) - An unstable change in output; a glitch in the matrix; an intense change in emotion.-Call it what you will, but when Gaius' back is against the wall or he's feeling particularly irked, his power begins to over boil and erupt. With this, a thick crimson aura begins to form around his body, increasing his parameters to much greater heights. However, this is extremely taxing on him, and makes his body much more vulnerable to physical damage, which takes much longer to heal than regularly attained injuries. Often with the newfound power, Gaius also tends to have his vision clouded a bit in the terms of logic and reason. When the energy is dispersed, it creates a small explosion around Gaius, harming all moderately within a 10 foot radius. However, after Armageddon is deactivated, it is no longer usable for the duration of the thread.
